Purpose AnitaB.org seeks two student members — one graduate and one undergraduate — to join our Board. These roles aim to cultivate future nonprofit board leaders and support women in technology.

Student Expectations
- Serve a two-year term starting September 1.
- Attend three Board meetings annually (locations vary).
- Participate in at least one Board committee.
- Resign membership by August 31 of the second year.
- Attend the annual Grace Hopper Celebration (GHC).
Nominating Process
- Open to graduate students of all gender identities.
- Self-nominations and peer nominations encouraged.
- Nomination review by AnitaB.org committee members.
- Final selection by the Nominating & Corporate Governance Committees and Board vote.
Timeline
- July 1: Call for nominations distributed.
- July 19: Nominations close.
- Late July: Top five graduate candidates selected.
- Early-Mid August: Interviews with final candidates.
- Mid-August: Selection committee deliberations and notifications.
- August 23: First Board meeting for selected student trustees.
- October 8-11: Attendance at Grace Hopper Celebration in Philadelphia.
