Who Can Apply?

This programme is ideal for educational planners and managers worldwide, professionals from education ministries, and staff from other governmental bodies. NGO workers and professionals from national and international agencies involved in educational planning are also welcome to apply.

What Will You Learn?

The programme consists of four courses covering the fundamentals of education sector policy, analysis, plan preparation, and plan monitoring. Participants will also complete a self-paced introductory course on descriptive statistics.

Our training combines individual study, weekly online “live” sessions, and exchanges with international experts to encourage collaboration and experience sharing.

Participants will learn to:

  • Analyse theories and international commitments shaping education policy and planning
  • Advocate for key policies addressing education challenges
  • Calculate and interpret education indicators
  • Design and draft an education sector analysis
  • Use simulation/projection tools
  • Evaluate the relevance and feasibility of education plans
  • Present information for planning, including MEL concepts and strategies

Selection Procedure

The selection process considers geographical and gender balance, with particular attention to applications from low-income and middle-income countries.
