Join the NHS Global Fellowships: Transform Your Career with International Experience

Welcome to NHS Global Fellowships

The NHS Global Fellowship Programme has been on offer for almost 15 years, with nearly 800 NHS staff undertaking fellowships abroad. Many returning fellows have drawn on their global health skills to become senior leaders across the NHS.

Purpose

The NHS Global Fellowship Programme offers leadership development opportunities for clinical and non-clinical staff to experience health systems globally. Fellows focus on quality improvement, research, or clinical projects, co-developed with local and/or national partners to enhance patient experience, improve health outcomes, and reduce health inequalities. Returning Fellows demonstrate new skills, improved motivation, and resilience, contributing to career progression and retention within the health sector.
