Hershey Heartwarming Young Heroes GYSD Grants: Empowering Youth Changemakers
Overview: The Hershey Heartwarming Young Heroes GYSD Grants, supported by The Hershey Company and Hershey’s Heartwarming Project, are now open for applications until March 10. Youth changemakers aged 5 to 25 in the U.S. and Canada are encouraged to apply for grants of either $250 or $500 for projects during Youth Service Month & Global Youth Service Day 2024. The grants aim to support projects that foster connections, social awareness, and relationship skills among youth volunteers.
Grant Details:
- Deadline: March 10, 11:59 pm (local time)
- Grant Amounts: $250 or $500 based on the number of participating youth volunteers.
- Total Grants: $50,000 will be awarded.
Eligibility:
- Youth applicants aged 5-25 in the U.S. and Canada.
- Projects must be youth-led.
- Projects must take place during Youth Service Month (April 12-May 12, 2024), with Global Youth Service Day (April 26-28, 2024) participation encouraged.
- Projects must impact the community where the youth applicant lives.
- Applicants must engage a diverse group of youth volunteers from different social backgrounds.
New for 2024: Projects may address any issue or community need important to the youth project leaders and their peers.
