University of Edinburgh Global Online Learning Masters Scholarships(Fully-funded and open to 82 nationalities)
The University of Edinburgh will offer twenty Masters scholarships for eligible part-time distance learning Masters programmes offered by the University.
Award
Each scholarship will cover full tuition fees and will be tenable for the normal duration of the programme of study.
Eligibility
Scholarships will be available for students commencing any online part-time learning Masters programme offered by the University in session 2024-2025.
Please note that only programmes of study that are at Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF) Descriptor Level 11 are able to be considered for this scholarship. Some programmes of study may have ‘Masters’ in their title but are at SCQF Descriptor Level 12, for example Master of Surgery (ChM), and are therefore not eligible for this scholarship.

Eligible countries for this scholarship are based on the categories ‘Least Developed Countries’, ‘Other low income Countries’ and ‘Lower Middle Income Countries’ as stated by the Organisation for Economic Corporation and Development Assistance Committee. Applicants should already have been offered a place at the University of Edinburgh and should have firmly accepted that offer or be intending to do so.
Criteria
The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit and the strength of a personal statement. Priority will be given to those who have not had the opportunity to study at masters level previously.
Applying
Applicants will be asked to include the following within their personal statement: Within your personal statement please include: (a) the specific elements of this programme that attracted you to the University of Edinburgh; (b) confirm how successful completion of this programme will benefit your career and personal development and (c) how this will enable you to contribute to your community/region or country?
Eligible applicants should complete an online scholarship application.
The scholarship deadline is 23:59pm BST Monday 3rd June 2024.
In order to gain access to the scholarship application system, applicants must have applied for admission to the University of Edinburgh. Please note that, following the submission of an application for admission, it can take up to five working days for all system checks to be completed and for access to be granted.
The online scholarship application form is located in EUCLID and can be accessed via MyEd our web based information portal at https://www.myed.ed.ac.uk
When logging in to MyEd, you will need your University User Name and password. If you require assistance, please go to http://www.ed.ac.uk/student-systems/support-guidance If you have not applied for admission, please go ahead and do this and you will receive your University User Name and password.
