The Open University Care Experienced Scholarship [Covers full tuition]
The Open University Care Experienced Scholarship offers six full undergraduate scholarships to care-experienced young people aged 25 and under. Developed in collaboration with The John Lewis Partnership as part of the Building Happier Futures initiative, this scholarship provides a pathway for young individuals with care experience to pursue higher education.
Understanding Care Experience:
We recognize that individuals with experience in care face unique challenges in accessing higher education. These challenges can impact academic progress and hinder opportunities for university education. At The Open University, we aim to remove barriers to higher education through open-access courses and flexible study arrangements, allowing students to study from the comfort of their homes.
