Position Overview
The Operations Analyst, under the direct supervision of the Deputy Director, will support the oversight and coordination of the PPID’s activities. The role involves ensuring delivery of PPID’s goals and financial results through information compilation, analysis, daily operations management, and advisory support.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Operational and Coordination Support:
- Develop and monitor PPID’s Strategic Note (SN) and biennial work plans (BWPs).
- Track financial resources and report on operational status.
- Provide guidance on initiatives to achieve PPID goals.
- Coordinate information flow within the Division.
- Support financial, administrative, human resources, procurement, and logistical matters.
- Facilitate PPID meeting internal management requirements.
- Support audit and evaluation coordination.
2. Quality Assurance and Approval Management:
- Manage online requests for Director and Deputy Director’s review.
- Review compliance with policies and procedures.
- Analyze data on approval requests and service performance.
3. People and Financial Management:
- Monitor budget and program expenditures.
- Oversee Programme Associates and Assistants.
4. Knowledge Sharing and Capacity Building:
- Share knowledge on operational policies and procedures.
- Consolidate information on operational challenges and lessons learned.
- Provide inputs for background documents and presentations.
- Identify and facilitate training opportunities for PPID staff.
5. Additional Duties:
- Perform other tasks as required for office efficiency.

Required Skills and Experience
Education and Certification:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, HR, or related field.
- First-level university degree with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted.
Experience:
- At least one year of responsible experience in office management, operations, or finance.
- Experience in staffing, mentoring, and development of personnel.
- Experience liaising with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in multiple office software packages and ERP systems (preferably Oracle Cloud).
- Management experience in back-office support operations.
Languages:
- Fluency in English required.
- Knowledge of another UN official language is desirable.
