We Are Tomorrow Global Partnership (WAT-GP) and Youth and Environment Europe (YEE) invite you to join the groundbreaking Global Dialogues for Climate Justice Project. This freelance opportunity is your ticket to play a crucial role in shaping a yearlong journey of learning, exchange, and advocacy.
About WAT-GP and YEE:
WAT-GP connects youth climate organizations worldwide, fostering collaboration, knowledge exchange, and joint efforts at international climate conferences. YEE, on the other hand, unites European environmental youth organizations, building awareness and capacity among European youth on environmental and climate issues.
The Global Dialogues for Climate Justice Project:
In this innovative 1-year project, young leaders from WAT-GP and YEE will delve into climate justice, sharing perspectives and organizing youth climate dialogues in their countries. As the Freelance Project Coordinator, you’ll be at the helm of planning, executing, and monitoring the project. Your role is to create a rich learning environment for participants and ensure a seamless collaboration experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a detailed project plan.
- Onboard participants from diverse youth climate organizations.
- Organize online capacity-building sessions on climate justice.
- Guide participants in organizing youth climate dialogues and developing national youth climate agendas.
- Coordinate participants’ involvement at UNFCCC COP29.
- Monitor and report project progress and results.
- Ensure a constructive and inspiring environment for participants.
Key Qualifications:
- Strong experience in project and budget management in an international setting.
- Previous experience in remote and intercultural settings.
- Experience or volunteering in a youth organization.
- Affinity with climate justice and youth advocacy.
- Age not exceeding 35 years by January 2025.
- Available for 20 or 40 hours a week in the CET time zone until February 2025.
- Excellent English language skills.
About the Offer:
Receive a fixed remuneration of €2380 per month for a 40-hour work week.

First round of screening calls (20 minutes) will be held in the week of November 20th, and interviews (45 minutes) are scheduled between December 7th to 10th (including the weekend). You would start your position on the 8th of January. The position runs for 13 months.
