Directorate Overview:
The Directorate for Public Governance (GOV) supports governments in designing strategic, evidence-based policies to enhance public governance and address economic, social, and environmental challenges. Our focus is on promoting good governance and democracy through innovative and action-oriented public sectors.
Division Overview:
The Innovative, Digital and Open Government Division (INDIGO) within GOV advances people-centered government services. The Government Innovation Unit (GIU) empowers public sector innovators by uncovering emerging practices, exploring new frameworks, and providing trusted advice on embedding innovation for better outcomes.
Role Overview:
We are seeking experienced and motivated Policy Analysts to join our Government Innovation Unit. The role involves conducting country diagnostics, developing innovation frameworks, and providing guidance on public sector innovation. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing programmes and projects, ensuring high-quality and timely outputs.
- Conducting research and drafting country reviews and international reports.
- Engaging in outreach and dissemination activities, representing the OECD in various forums.
Qualifications:
- University degree in international relations, public policy/administration, law, or related fields.
- Minimum of five years’ experience in public sector innovation.
- Proven research and policy analysis skills.
- Fluency in English and French.
Additional Information:
- Contract Duration: 13-month fixed-term, with the possibility of renewal.
- Salary: Starting from 7,738.74 EUR/month, exempt from French income tax.
