ASEAN-Japan Youth Forum 2024: “Take Actions for Social Change (TASC)”
Overview
The ASEAN-Japan Youth Forum 2024 invites undergraduate students from ASEAN countries and Japan to collaborate under the theme “Good Health and Well-Being”. This program aims to foster unity and mutual understanding by providing a platform for participants to exchange ideas and devise practical solutions for pressing social issues. The vision is to create a peaceful world by 2050.

- Application: 1 May – 30 June 2024
- 1st Round Selection Announcement: mid July 2024*
- 2nd Round Interview: mid August 2024*
- 2nd Round Selection Result: mid September 2024*

- Orientation (Online seminar 1): November 2024
- ASEAN Field Trip in Indonesia: December 2024
- Online Seminar 2: December 2024
- Japan Field Trip: February 2025
Eligibility
- Full-time undergraduate students from AUN Core Member Universities*
- *For details, please refer to the Appendix 1 attached hereto
- Citizen or permanent resident of an AUN Member University country.
- Have not lived abroad for more than one year after the age of 12.
- No plans to leave their country for study, internship, employment, training, etc. during the programme.
- Physically and mentally healthy.
- Able to participate in the full duration of the programme, including the Online Programme.
- Interested in solving global and national social issues.
- Interested in international exchange and cross-cultural understanding.
- Sufficient English-language skills for global communication.
- Ability to actively participate in the programme and submit assignments on time.
- Can prepare the necessary equipment for online exchange (computer, internet connection, etc.).
- Agree to allow photographs and videos taken during the programme to be used for PR purposes (see Appendix 2).

All documents should be written in English.
Terms of Financial Support
The program is basically free. The organizers will cover international travel expenses, meals, accommodation, and related transportation fees during the programme in Indonesia and Japan. The round-trip transportation fee is only from the airport nearest to your home to the venue.
