Apply Now: Join the Migration Youth & Children Platform-MYCP Coordination Team! (Remote, €3500-€4000 Compensation, Open to All Nationalities)

Project Description

The Migration Youth & Children Platform (MYCP) is thrilled to announce a new initiative aimed at elevating youth voices and perspectives in regional and international migration policy. This project is in line with the Global Compact for Migration (GCM) process, ensuring that young people are at the forefront of migration discussions and decisions.

The GCM Youth Consultations aim to empower grassroots youth and youth-led organizations to take action in accordance with GCM objectives. This initiative seeks to influence GCM and other relevant policy processes by showcasing youth-led creativity, policy solutions, and capabilities.

Key Objectives

The GCM Workstream is a fundamental component of MYCP’s mission and will gain increased significance as we approach the 2026 International Migration Review Forum (IMRF). This project is a unique opportunity to mobilize young people and shape the future of GCM processes.

Operating globally, this project strives to provide young people and grassroots communities with a voice in global decision-making, involving them directly in shaping their future. We are seeking passionate, talented, and dedicated young individuals to help make this vision a reality.

The GCM Youth Consultations are part of a larger initiative focused on delivering GCM objectives, exploring alternatives to detention, and promoting the learning and development of advocates and young migrants.
