Who Can Apply?

What Can Be Funded?

• A complete postgraduate or Master’s degree program at a state or state-recognized university in Germany.
• One year of study in Germany as part of a second or Master’s degree at your home university, provided the credits are recognized by your home university.

Duration and Value of Funding

• Duration: 10 to 24 months, depending on the length of the chosen program. Scholarships are awarded for the standard period of study (up to 24 months).
• Value:
  • Monthly stipend of €934
  • Payments towards health, accident, and personal liability insurance
  • Travel allowance
  • Annual study allowance of €460
  • Possible additional benefits like rent subsidy and family allowances
