Who Can Apply?
Applicants who have completed their first degree (e.g., Bachelor’s or Diplom) are eligible. Note that specific scholarship programs exist for applicants from artistic disciplines and architecture, including:

What Can Be Funded?
- A complete postgraduate or Master’s degree program at a state or state-recognized university in Germany.
- One year of study in Germany as part of a second or Master’s degree at your home university, provided the credits are recognized by your home university.
Duration and Value of Funding
- Duration: 10 to 24 months, depending on the length of the chosen program. Scholarships are awarded for the standard period of study (up to 24 months).
- Value:
- Monthly stipend of €934
- Payments towards health, accident, and personal liability insurance
- Travel allowance
- Annual study allowance of €460
