About the Internship Programme: This internship spans 6 months with a fixed start date of September/October 2024, with the potential for extension up to 12 months. It falls under the Financial Inclusion Fund (FIF) and targets young nationals from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region and the Africa, Caribbean, and Pacific (ACP) region. Applicants are encouraged to apply early, as only the first three applications will be considered.
Responsibilities: As a Trainee, you will play a crucial role in supporting our team’s endeavors in the MENA region and ACP Partner Countries. Your tasks will involve preparing Project Monitoring Reports (PMRs), collecting and analyzing data and statistics, and aiding in ad hoc tasks relevant to the delivery of our Business Plan. Under the guidance of senior colleagues, you will actively participate in core activities, focusing on the MENA and ACP regions.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Final year of studies or University degree from a MENA/ACP partner country, with a background in economics and/or business-related courses.
- Prior work experience or traineeship in a bank, financial institution, or audit firm is advantageous.
- Proficiency in MS Office software, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Excellent written and spoken English; knowledge of other regional languages such as French, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, or Ukrainian is a plus.
