The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Youth Affairs Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to global youth and women empowerment through the transformation of agrifood systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies for World Food Forum (WFF) tracks, programs, and workstreams.
- Coordinate with partners to enhance WFF messaging and events.
- Create and adapt content for WFF activities.
- Manage WFF events and lead engagements with external partners.
- Oversee volunteer and intern teams.
- Develop initiatives to boost youth inclusivity globally.
- Support the WFF Coordinator in various tasks, including potential field missions.
Requirements
- Education: Advanced university degree in political science, business administration, marketing, international development, or related fields.
- Experience:
- Category C: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
- Category B: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Category A: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
- Language: Proficiency in English (C level); knowledge of a second FAO language is an asset.
