Exciting news! The Commonwealth Secretariat, OBREAL Global, Association of African Universities, and Symbiosis International University have joined forces to launch a groundbreaking initiative: the Youth Policy and International Cooperation in AI programme.

As part of this initiative, they’re establishing an ‘Effective Inter-regional Incubator for Youth’. This initiative aims to empower undergraduate and postgraduate students worldwide to transform their innovative ideas into real-world projects.

What’s the Call for Proposal About?

If you’re a student passionate about making a difference and keen on tackling global challenges, this Call for Proposals is for you! Selected individuals will receive mentorship, seed funding, and support to implement projects using AI, with a focus on promoting multilingualism.

Focus Areas:

Your proposals should focus on applying AI tools to inter-regional and multilingual learning/research processes. Additionally, they should address areas such as education, health, food security, entrepreneurship, poverty eradication, gender equality, climate change, disaster risk reduction, and the blue ocean economy.

Funding Selection:

Every year, 25 proposals will be chosen to receive up to €10,000 in seed funding. The most promising projects will receive additional funding over the following three years. Regional representation will be a priority during the selection process.

Submission and Selection:

The process involves two phases: pre-selection based on concept notes (Phase 1 Call for Proposals) and full proposal selection. An international committee of experts will oversee the process.

Projects should drive innovation, product development, entrepreneurship, and potential commercialisation for use in higher education institutions and other sectors.

They aim to provide opportunities for Palestinian women with ability and potential, but limited opportunity, to access Ulster University studies.

The programme will provide students and young professionals with educational and training opportunities that will help their career development, enabling them to achieve impact in their chosen fields.

PLURAL+ Youth Video Festival is a special initiative by the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) and the International Organization for Migration (IOM). It’s a platform that invites young people from all over the world to share their unique perspectives on pressing global issues through original and imaginative videos.

Who Can Enter?
