Job Responsibilities
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative research; analyze national and regional renewable energy policies and proposals, administrative policies, and regulatory changes; - Develop and execute research plans; data analysis; writing reports and other products; and engaging with other organizations, researchers, and advocates to conduct research and advance policy priorities. Candidates must demonstrate an ability to innovate and work across issues and domains; - Propose and draft planning documents for projects supporting new energy industries, such as industry parks, research institutes, and R&D zones; - Cooperate with local governments, research institutions and enterprises for project coordination; - Elicit and provide feedback on written products.
Job Requirements
- Native English speaker preferred, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. (Mandarin is not required but will be considered as a plus); - Graduate degree in Economics, Public Policy, energy technology, or a related field. - Two years or more of relevant experience in relevant experience in energy (economics, technical or policy work) - Excellent research and analytical skills. - Ability to communicate clearly with expert and non-expert audiences. - Keen interest in clean energy, innovation, and public policy.
